Covid-19 Response (November 18, 2020)
Covid-19 has been a global pandemic since March 2020. Our thoughts on the issue revolve around equal rights and fair treatment of citizens. With all the possible dangers of Covid-19, it is safe to assume that we should further restrict states and cities. This issue has hit a hallmark of many small businesses and employment negatively, so we insist to keep pushing on with a hybrid-style lockdown. However, other racial tensions such as racism and inequality have forced people apart from each other. In result, many protests have ensued, and violence runs across the country. We pledge to serve those affected by this pandemic and these racial tensions.
The Environment (November 19, 2020)
Centuries of man-made inventions and violence have taken its toll on this earth. Pollution, extinction, endangered animals. All of these problems exist and are growing worse each day that passes by. The Equal Rights Party of America fully supports the protection of endangered species and believes in preserving our natural resources. We will do all we can to stop illegal poaching and protect wildlife sanctuaries that hold these precious animals. Not only that, but we pledge to clean up the pollutant debris from bodies of water with the help of 4Ocean to keep our country clean.

Marijuana (December 1, 2020)
Marijuana has been a controversial issue ever since the legalization of marijuana in Colorado in November 2012 with the passing of amendment 64. It has led to multiple crimes, deaths, and problems among the community. We believe that marijuana should remain legal for anyone over 21. However, we believe in a 50% tax rate on all marijuana products sold and additionally a 75% tax on junk food to be given to education. This way, we can revert our taxes away from education and use it for public spending such as roads, buildings, and financial aid.

Gun Control (December 4, 2020)
The second amendment gives Americans the right to bear arms, which means that Americans have the right to possess weapons for their own defense. This was written in 1787 and things have changed since then. Guns have become more advanced and dangerous and because of that, so have people. The Equal Rights Party of America will work to put an end to mass shootings by requiring more things to those who would like to purchase a gun. We will require a full mental health evaluation, a background check, and a one month waiting period to keep anyone from doing something impulsively. With new regulations set in place, we will keep Americans rights to bear arms and slow down violence in America.

Abortion (December 8, 2020)
One of the most controversial issues leading in our country is abortion. Our party stands for equal rights and freedoms for all. Which means freedom to choose what you do with your own body. Pro-choice helps people, especially teenagers and rape victims who can’t afford to go through a pregnancy. By allowing women to have the choice, we give those equal rights that everyone deserves. Our campaign stands with people who choose to go down this path and support them fully as we understand these situations. We also account for those who do not believe in this issue and support them as well through any unexpected times.
Healthcare (December 8, 2020)
One largely increasing problem in America today is the price of healthcare. A single accident could put you in debt for the rest of your life. Our wish is that this does not happen to anyone. Our party strives to make American healthcare cheaper and more affordable. We stand with affordable and fair healthcare for everyone.
Persecution (December 8, 2020)
A decent majority of immigrants in the US have traveled here for better economic opportunity and to escape practice-based persecution. Persecution is the violation of rights in what someone believes in or practices. Our party strongly opposes any type of persecution. We believe in equal rights for everyone, no matter what religion, or any idea presented. We pledge to protect those affected by persecution and believe in loosening such tight restrictions on immigrants to the US, as they are looking for a better life and were not fortunate enough to have one.
